A New Year

Well, 2009 has finished and 2010 is here. I celebrated the new year by playing in the snow - a very strange thing for an Australian like me haha. This has been a big year for me, obviously. I moved to Japan and have changed and grown so much in that time here. God has taught me so much about myself and my relationship with Him. This year has had lots of challenges, but it's all been worth it.

This year has also been filled with joy. My brother got married in February and my best mate, Luke, got married in September.

But there has also been moment's of sadness. A friend of mine died earlier this year which was a pretty big shock. It really reminded me of how short life can be and that I need to make the most of every opportunity God gives me each day.

I've had a lot of interesting experiences this year too. I experienced my first earthquake. I experienced my first typhoon. I experienced my first snow fall.

And now 2010 starts, and a whole new adventure waits. I don't know what it will hold, but God does and that's ultimately what matters.
